The error you're getting has nothing to do with the VFP runtime files. The error message means you're trying to write to a file or cursor that is read only for some reason. You need to determine which line of code is causing the problem.

The remote computer has another(different) VFP app installed on it but I still get errors trying to update tables ("Cannot update the cursor") from the client when using this new application. The client in this case happens to be a Win95 OS, where the server is a Win 98 OS. My Question: Is there a dll that needs to be installed on the client that allows the updates. I have the typical ones from the other app (vfp6r.dll, vfpenu.dll, vfp6run.dll), it seems like it's just one of these that is missing. Any ideas?
