Just like how the general public was confused that Windows 2000 is the upgrade to Windows 98?

Some of these naming conventions... if everything was: Windows 4.0 and 5.0, ASP and ASP 2.0, COM and COM 2.0. And ".NET" is a dumb enough name in itself. Why the "dot", I dont' get it, its stupid.

We should be working with software that is powerful and stable, not something with a cute and trendy name. Windows M.E.! ARGG!
