>How do you display Recno() on a form???

John and Mike showed you how, but why would you display a meaningless number to your users? If you are using this as a unique record ID, you could be in for trouble later. Record numbers are not absolute. If you delete a record in the middle or beginning of the table and pack the table, all other records move up and now have different record numbers.

If you need to provide your users with a unique identifier, add a KeyID integer field to your table and use a default field value trigger to populate this field whenever a new record is added.
