So are you saying that the chat room is only important when there is a session? Because that is the only time an admin is ever there. What if someone logs in and starts flooding the server with random crap? Your bot can't detect that (flooding yes, but organized flooding, no).

Those two are not related. With channel op you cannot change the configuration of the server.
