We already can do that..... I don't know the details about the innovations within .net . But I certainly think we cannot draw these conclusions until we see the final VS product and do a comparison based on facts rather than on rumours.
I think you should be carefull of what you say here john, If you want to be a reliable source, don't throw this kind of statements.

We'll have to see and wait *IF* the whole .NET thing is taking us forward or we walk the dinasour again (as we did many times in the past).
