Personal experience (and our customers, too). We used to have Novell, and had ton's of problems. Switched to NT (same hardware, cabling, NICS's) and the problems disappeared. As for our customer's problems, some have switched, some have not, but I'd be willing to bet many of their problems were bad cabling.

But for a real eye opener, check out a search at Novell for VFP or FoxPro and see how many problems they have in this environment. The latest patches (several years ago, I'll admit) did NOT fix the problem. We always stayed current, and STILL had problems.
