Another stupid question from the newest convert to n-tier development...

I'm doing some 'messing around' with SQL Server and Web Access (translation...in the early early learning phases), and have a question.

Much of the 'demo' code and apps I'm looking to study (like the lab files from Mastering Visual InterDev) says that it requires NT Server or NT Workstation. I have Win '98 with SQL Server 7 installed...if I simply install Personal Web Server, will that give me what I need 'for now' to start learning, or is there more to it than that?
