Yes, some of us are a little shy and others, like me, although eager to participate, lack a good command of the language and it weights.

Anyway, I understand JVP point of view, and I do agree we need to see outside VFP and become more active learning other languages/technologies. Here in the Bay Area, the tendency is Linux/Java/Oracle. The problem is, he likes the heat and that is his way. I prefer pleasant conversations.

And for the .NET, let's see what they'll show us at the DevCon, Rick has made some very insightful comments about his experiencies with it and I do respect his opinions a lot.

Mi wife (a VFP developer too) and me will be in Miami at the DevCon, if you will be there too, it will be our great pleasure to meet you and otheres, and be part of the 'great bunch of nerds', at least for a week. <g>
