I believe you're mistaken here. FWIW, I agree with a lot of (not all) the opinions you lay out here. But I still think you're argumentative, and I still think you say things just to try and get a rise out of people. The reason you catch flack is not because of the things you say, but the way you say them (and possibly because of the frequency... there's not a regular on this board that doesn't know you prefer VB over VFP, yet you restate VB's superiority at every opportunity.)

Uh, no. You lay out opinions and you call them facts. For most of the subjects you involve yourself in, there are no facts, only opinions and conjecture.

Instead of saying "the fact of the matter is," you should try "IMO". Stating it any other way implies that you believe anything you say is fact and anyone who disagrees or takes exception is wrong or lying.
