All I can say is I agree.

I'm torn between the fact that it's Michel’s computer & resources and he should be allowed to do with it what he pleases.

On the other hand; and I feel more strongly; he started it; and it's now used, advertised & relied upon.

I know that there's a lot going on at UT with some valuable people leaving while other rude people stay. But; if it weren't for US, the users, who provide the help to other users, the UniversalThread would be, well, nothing.

I'd strongly suggest returning the chat room back to "normal" operations, and apologizing publicly to JK.

I have, on a few occasions, when there have been really poor decisions at the UT management level, tried to get people to boycott & deal with VFUG instead. However, UT is so popular (not because of the recent changes) that it's really not feasible...
