I should add that I never trash anyone else's development tool of choice. I have used Access in the past and I'm just starting to learn VB and think it is a great product. But, so is VFP - it does everything I need it to do and EXTREMELY FAST. The VB guys here (very smart and experienced I may add) are continually amazed at the speed of processing large amounts of data in my VFP apps.

Point is, each tool has it's place, including IHMO VFP. I have read with interest a few threads in which your opinions have quite obviously infuriated a large number of people. I think that most VFP developers have respect for VB as a development tool, but my take on the issue (based on what I've read) is you have a total lack of respect for VFP. That, I think, is what has caused the hard feelings here.

Whether of not you agree with the above is of little consequence to me - however, I don't feel I'm out of line in making these comments.

>>>Remember folks, you are NOT your developer tool. The next time you get tourqed up when somebody slights Fox, ask yourself why you get peeved. My advice is to deal with it in a constructive manner. Either ignore it or take responsibility for your career and do what is necessary to ween your dependency from Fox. Don't blame others for the situation you find yourself. If you are a happy person doing what you are doing, then ignore what other's write.
