Thanks for the info, at least that's a partial solution. I was playing around with this last night and found that I could transfer the scx and sct files from the VFP builder directory with no problem. Could it only affect files I've generated? I'm beginning to wonder if it might be security-related. Thanks again, I'll let you know if I discover a cure.
