Don't worry, VB isn't so bad. You've got a couple of choice.
1) Learn VB on the company's coin. Be happy that you've acquired a new skill
or
2) Move on.
or
3) Show the boss a few places where VFP can fit into the corporate architecture. (raw query speed, Windows RAD, licence free client install)
