May be someone knows is there any way to convert NTFS5 back into NTFS4?
The trouble is: some time ago I installed NT2000 on my computer.
As you know, it converts all accessible NTFS volumes into NTFS5
during installation. Ok, some time I've been working under NT2000,
but not so long ago I deinstalled it, but NTFS5 remained intact.
And due to this fact all my defrag utilites and native NTFScheck
refuse to work till the present day. Moreover, Aelita ERDisk shows the same behavior (it can't mount NTFS5 volumes - and this is BAD in case of system crash)!
I suppose all of them want back good ole NTFS4, but I have not the slightest idea how to get it back again.
Could anyone help me with valuable advice?
