Is there a way to give the listbox the focus and have the first item highlighted?

>>yes, I ran that quikdemo. It does what it's supposed to do. But what I want is a little furthur. I want the closest matches that the user types to be displayed in the dropdown portion, allowing the user to click on a choice.
>>I have setup a textbox and a listbox and the listbox reflects the matches of the textbox, ~supposedly~. The problem I have is that in the keypress or interactive change of the textbox, I cannot obtain the value of the textbox. I was told to try nodefault() but so far , no luck.
