We're not abandoning it. SFReports and SFQuery will continue to live on, but not as developer tools with source code.

Here's what led to this decision: we've agreed to create a customized version of SFReports for another company's software. This agreement precludes us from continuing to sell a source code version of SFReports. Since we didn't make very much money from SFReports, economically this was an easy decision to make. Emotionally, it was extremely difficult and painful.
