Nope.

- Look at the Wed. Chat log on the wiki from last Wednesday when I did a presentation on n-tier. That's a good place to start.
- Learn about COM, and particularly COM+. .Net is still pretty new and IMO will not be in demand for sometime.
- Learn ADO and XML for data passing.
- Get a good understand of breaking the application down into the three basic tiers, UI, Business, and Data. n-tier definately requires better design than regular 1-tier VFP applications.
- Learn SQL Server or some other back-end data store.

If you don't understand something, ask questions. Don't be afraid to look stupid. I'll bet JVP has explained interface inheritance to Fox people many times...and he will probably do it again when VFP 7.0 hits the street. I had to ask him to explain it a few times before it started to gel.
