>- Look at the Wed. Chat log on the wiki from last Wednesday when I did a presentation on n-tier. That's a good place to start.
>- Learn about COM, and particularly COM+. .Net is still pretty new and IMO will not be in demand for sometime.
>- Learn ADO and XML for data passing.
>- Get a good understand of breaking the application down into the three basic tiers, UI, Business, and Data. n-tier definately requires better design than regular 1-tier VFP applications.
>- Learn SQL Server or some other back-end data store.
