Interesting thread. Makes my experience not so odd. I'm running WIN2K Advanced Server and Adaptec Easy CD Creator 4.02d. (major problems crashing windows before I upgraded to "d" version).

Last night I burned a backup of my project and left for the night. This morning I came in to see a message that I had "removed a device" without stopping it first. I don't have a PCMCIA CD writer!

The SCX files I created this summer copied fine, as did some written at the beginning of this month.
