Kind of ironic that the implementation of a new technology is based on something that does not fully support the implementation....< s > What I mean of course is that other tools, namely VB, support ADO fully. Fox supports most of the capabilities. Still, there are some differences in behavior here and there. Where Fox lacks is not so much ADO specific as it is COM related (no support for default properties, events, etc..) Although, there are some ADO specific issues - such as getchunk() and appendchunk, etc...
Lunch and/or dinner with you? Your assumption of course is that I would accept your invitation.. Yes, that is exactly what I had in mind, to share a meal with somebody who is chasing after me and continually busting my stones. No thanks..
As for where and what I eat at Devcon, I can assure you it is not the hotel and the hotel food as the food quality and selection is usually sub-par. I tend to be a bit selective now. I am almost 40 pounds lighter than New Orleans. I got tired of being on the fast track to becoming a lazy fat slob.
As for where I eat, for some reason, I tend to think that you and I would not frequent the same sorts of establishments. And for sure, you would not be on my short list of chosen guests. Then again, I am sure I would not be on the short list of many people here either. But I would be on the lists that count...< s >.
Hack away all you want Doug, I really don't care. But, if you rub my nose enough, you will get it back in spades..
As I said before, take your best shot - but make it good and make sure it counts....
