>>You're right about that. I'm in total agreement that several people need OP privledges.

>I'm in agreement and I'd go so far as to say that OP privileges should be available to anyone, as it was before. You just can't anticipate who'll be present if someone jumps in and makes a jerk of him or herself. I can see restricting it during a lecture, but all of the time? Makes no sense.

Hi John and Craig. Despite a long distance call, privates, chats and emails Jason has refused to give any guidance on configuring the IRC server and chat bot. He has no obligation to do this certainly. It is puzzling though that he continues to offer to give help publicly then withdraw the offer for help privately.

Michel is in agreement that people need to gain IRC status. It is just a matter of time for me to acquire these skills. The other option is for someone to help out. Not sure if that will happen.

What distress is me is that my name and my intentions are being dragged through the mud. I guess that is my problem. I will try to ignore.

Note that this isn't directed at either of you. Just wanted to clarify the fact that everyone is in agreement that people should be able to gain OP status.
