You are right, I only need to check if a certain amount of miliseconds has elapsed.
I have tested it and the maximum delay between two concurrent calls is 2 ms, but this is probably caused by the debug.print statement, without printing the resolution will be 1 ms.
That's more accurate than GetTickCount.
