Thanks for the tip!! However I am not using a HP printer in my development environment - we use a Lexmark. But, I am going to try changing the HP drivers to a MS driver on a few of our clients systems. The are getting a weird behavior - they have to manually insert the paper for the reports to print. So, thanks again-I'm hoping your suggestions will work.

Meanwhile, the quest for implementing RDC continues. With the other issues resolved (by sys(2333,1) and exporting the 4.5 rpt files) we now are having a problem with setting fonts.

I am using the following code to set the font on a field.
ocrxReport.Sections.item("GH6a").reportobjects.item(2).font.name = "Times New Roman"

This displays the error:
ELE exception error: Exception code c0000005. OLE object may be corrupt.

However, ?ocrxReport.Sections.item("GH6a").reportobjects.item(2).font.name displays the font name I set but a preview does not display it (I have not tried printing).

Since our report allows a lot of customization including fonts etc, it is critical that this works. I am going to post to Seagate - hopefully their turnaround time will improve.
