That sound like it would work, I would have to figure out the details. The other reason I was thinking VFP is that for another project I was working on they want to provide free dialup internet access. The VFP app would control the connection/disconnection and would roll advertising through banners located on the VFp app space. The app would load the users browser linking to a home page. Once they reach that point they are on thier own and free to do what ever they want in regards to the Internet. The only thing is VFP app displaying the banner ads stays on the top of the screen. The idea that if the user maximizes the browser it cannot cove the VFP app.

Thanks

Scott

>>One of my clients would like to have a program/window that when run docks itself to the top of the Windows desktop and stays on top of all other running applications when they are maximized .... The application would act kind of like a dashbard with Intranet links, messages, etc, etc.

>I have an idea, instead of a VFP App, can you make this an HTML page? Sounds like you could. Then, create a new toolbar on the Windwos 2000 (I'm guessing ME has this but I'm not sure) desktop and link it to your webpage. Now you've got a toolbar on the desktop, that all apps "fill" to and can always be on top.
