It's absolutely not true... just realistic. MS already does little or no marketing for VFP - I would bet the farm that there will not be a version available for Linux because there's no money in it for them.
OTOH, if a future version of VFP participates in the CLR MS is introducing...

I understand that - but do not think a company of any size would roll the dice on Linux and FoxPro.
