This means re-writing from scratch a product that has a 15 year+ history and codebase. Not only that but you can't take full advantage of native code in the stuff that gets built into the language because it must go at an abstraction layer.

I'm on the same standpoint as you are. But some of use (the community) have suggested to have a compile option to compile to the CLR without eliminating the possibility to compile to the normal VFP P-CODE. What is your standpoint on this ??
