Hello Vinod, this is a long reply, because it's a complicated subject.

I'm using Visual MaxFrame Professional (Drew Speedie's) on a large project, and took a 3-day class to help get started. It's extremely complicated at first because it has so many features, but I'm beginning to really like it.

1. It handles all of the login screens, and then handles user-security on a field-by-field basis.

2. It has an excellent development environment, so you can test your forms as you go.

3. When testing it automatically handles all app. object calls even without the app. object being present (speeds form-building!)

4. The VMF set of controls has MANY excellent additions, which are consistent across the entire set. For example, every combo box has a property ialist[], which is automatically used as the default recordsource if the recordsource isn't filled in. All you do is put your data in the array. Grids have 10 pre-designed columns, and a property to say how many you wish to use. Built into the grid is the ability to sort on any column you designate. All you do is add a line of code saying which index to use. The grid does the rest.

5. We are using their Primary Key generator on all our main tables. 5-char. field, uses digits up to 99999 and then switches to symbols.

6. Links are built in for Foxfire!, Stonefield Data Toolkit, etc.

There are a lot of other strong points, but I hope this gives you an overview, Vinod. I'll be interested to see what others are using.
