Hi guys. I am having around 50,000 records in my sql server table. I have a filtered query which takes around 5 seonds if i run it from sql server enterprise manager.

but if i try to run same query through vfp , it takes around 16 seconds. I don't have any memo fields in sql server data. also I am fetching all the records at once through view. i don't understand why this much of difference in speed?

btw, i am running the query off vFp from the same machine where sql server is.

anyone have idea? thanks in adavnce.
