Thanks Vlad

I did. It still didn't work. It works partially. Only when I clic on the objects (text field) on the grid, it become transparent and stay the same until I click on an object on another column. !???? prety strange...

>>I am trying without success to define a grid as transparent. I would like no background color. When I am doing this, setting the background as transparent for each control within the grid, it reacted by putting only the current active control transparent. When I go to another control, the transparency change to this control.

> Try to use 'Sparse=.F.' for column. This will tell VFP that control need to be painted for EACH column. By default (Sparse=.T.) VFP paints only currect row control, other rows painted by grid as simple text using column properties.
