Hi again, Vinod, So you knew I'd reply? I'm getting pretty predictable, I guess.
My first impression was that it was all above MY head too. Then I started looking at very specific items, and it began to fall into place. The class then focussed in detail on a couple of forms.
1. The class was from Micromega (the Foxfire! people). They teach VMF out here in California (USA). I was VERY lucky. I'm leading a project which is using VMF, and our whole group of programmers was sent at the same time.
2. I followed Drew's advice, and subclassed all of the VMF libraries. Since then I have added several methods and properties, but have only changed ONE existing method in 6 finished forms. I used a grid class which called a timer to refresh. I didn't want the refresh done, so I commented out 2 lines of code.
