Yeah, whatever I do has to be on something more efficient that a laptop or notebook computer. I did this before [6 years ago], and the customer quit using it for several reasons -- too long to boot up, launch the app, enter the invoice, exit, shutdown, short battery life, too bulky to take in to customer stores, etc.

So, when I got this request again, I thought a Palm would be an ideal solution. My main requirement is now small, portable, always ready. Technology is a quantum leap better than when I first did this 6 years ago, so now there is a better chance for long term success and use. I am not in the business to develop something that ultimately will be shelved.
