We are on the same track re MSSQL7/2000 for more than 5 users and MSDE for five or less. It sounds like Interbase may be your solution for this project. A number of developers in our local Delphi users group utilize it and have found it to be fast and reliable. The new features in open source 6 make it a pretty palatable solution. If you use it let me know.

Forgive me; I sure do not want to be an Ugly American. I forget how spoiled I am not only by the US, but the California economy. There seems to be a shortage of good solution providers here - due the incredible demand by new and growing organizations and the awesome rate of technological change causing firms with older stuff needing to be redone.

Hopefully, due to the Internet, more less advantaged areas of the world will begin to catch up. Education is the key ingredient with freedom and individual incentive right behind. The Internet can sure help in these areas.
