I'm not really concerned if the business has the day off. All it's used for is to change the color of the date on the calendar, like on a real calendar.

Here at Shaw, we get Good Friday off, but not Columbus day, for example. Further, some companys give one day off for Thanksgiving and some two. A better solution, IMO, is to use a table to store the dates then modify it as required.
