The SDK I downloaded created an end user set of folders -- Disk1, Disk2, Disk3. I just provide these on the CD that I provide my App on. The use just has to run the SETUP.EXE found in the Disk1 folder. As long as the other 2 folders are in the same relative path as Disk1, the user is not prompted for the location of the other 2 folders. All the controls get registered as well.

>I've also been using the TM-88II with the OPOS control. What do software developers who integrate OPOS need to offer as for setup and registering all the different control objects? Do you let the clients use the manufacturers setup utility or do you create your own? I've been wondering about which way is the more professional way to do it?
>Should I handle getting a list of service objects(assuming they will install the software themselves) and provide it with my software? Or do I have them get their own service object with their printer?
>I know the control object (the OPOS activex control) is all the same but the control objects are different, providing the fuctionality's of the various manufacturers.
