No I have abandoned VFP 6 Windows 2000 link and am using Win98 as a file server instead. It works fine.

Alan - to be frank - I had so many people with 'vested' interests telling me that the problem lies with my setup and they have run 'tons of applications' successfully that I gave up the unequal struggle. There is a problem and it wont go away. I believe that the problem will get worse when connecting Windows 2000 and Windows ME. I will continue to search for an answer. If I get one I will let you know. Please keep me informed.
