Thanks for your reply...you're probably right...however there are situations when storing data in General Fields WOULD be appropriate such as when you don't want a lot of external files cluttering up your system or want to restrict access to information.

We store 100,000+ zipped Word documents in Memo fields. The document is zipped before insertion and automatically unzipped if the user wants to see/edit it. I used DynaZip and it has not raised an error yet!
