>Thanks to all for all of your suggestions. I have just ordered SuSE 7.0 Personal Edition and I'm sure I will be back with more questions!

That'l work! If you want any files from the pro edition they can be easily downloaded from the SuSE ftp, which is linked on the SuSE.com site.

>>As everyone has said, YES! For a server a 486-66Mhz with 32MB RAM would be a nice server. Your bottle neck will be either the speed of your NICS or your HD.

>>About any except COREL, which has too much propriatary stuff in it to suit me. Too 'cute'. Designed to sucker in^^^^^^^^^^ make Windows users feel at home, both in look, feel, and wallet impact.

>>I've tried RH, Mandrake and SuSE. I've stuck with SuSE. YaST (Yet another System Tool) is awesome. If I remember correctly, there is a section in the setup specifically to setup servers, with all the right questions, etc... ending with nice security and firewall. After I setup my SuSE box I logged onto a website that checks your internet connection for security. It scanned my address for about 15 minutes and finally said it couldn't even tell if a computer was at my address. I'f left my box connected to the Internet 24/7 for over a year and haven't had a single break-in. Still, I'm not going to give you my address!! 8-)
