About 20 Gigs is the size of my HD - 4 are used for Linux. I can compile the kernel with the correct settings but how do I get it on the floppy? It sounds like the kernel is not on the floppy and the boot disk only directs where to boot from???? If that is the case then where should I be placing the compiled (configured kernel) kernel? I'm using RED HAT 6.2. I just want to add the a sound card and NIC.
