I have a form that uses several free tables and a dbc with local views.It
is running on a Win95/98 workstation with the tables located on an NT 4.0 server. I have one table that is being locked somewhere in the processing and remains locked. The table remaining locked is a lookup table. It never has data written to it. Several views in the dbc are based on this table. It remains locked even after the user has saved and no add/edit processes are in progress. I do no explicit locks with code. I am using pessimistic buffering on my tables. This lock occurs only occasionally, not every time records are added to a table.What is causing the lock? Is it requerys on the views based on this table. What is causing the lock to persist?
