>Thanks. I had not read the Powerpoint chapter. Started yesterday. It looks simple enough. Found a couple of typos in the sample code, but I guess you know about those by now. At least in my case, I had to change oPresentation to oPowerPoint in one instance for the thing to work. Isn't VFP7 Intellisense wonderful? I'm sure you would've loved to have it (and your a book like ours too), when working on JFAST.

None of this Automation stuff is that hard -- provided you have documentation! Yes, I do wish I'd had Intellisense and an Automation book while working on JFAST! But the lack of Automation books left the field wide open for Tamar and I to write one, and for that, I'm glad.

And if you do find typos, feel free to send them along to me...we're trying to keep the FAQ and Errata sections as complete and current as possible on the Hentzenwerke website.

Actually, the reason why I generated the PowerPoint slides was because the session was *about* generating PowerPoint slides from VFP. I'm not sure how well it would translate to other topics, especially XML...it may detract from your message. Unless, of course, you're taking XML data into VFP and putting it into PowerPoint!
