Then you've should have done this in this case, which in fact you've not. Don't get me wrong, having your own opinion is fine, but forcing this opinion as being a fact where it is not is IMO way out of line. The theory described by both Codd and date leave much room for interpretations and in practice they often are done otherwise for various reasons. I'm not discussing which strategy is the best choice. In fact your proposal above is fine, but you seem to have got the habbit of telling people things which are controversial as a fact. This is misleading and leads to narrow views. I certainly think we agree we don't want that...
