I just heard on the radio that the Florida court has upheld the 5pm deadline today, so Gore will immediately appeal to the Florida Supreme Court.

It doesn't look (to me) like this will be pursued any further in federal court. Yesterday, Bush's suit in federal court was thrown out saying that it was a matter for the state of Florida to decide and I would guess that that would be upheld unless the Florida Supreme Court changes something.

In any case, the judges are due back tomorrow, so they don't have to get too upset. < g >
