Tamar,

>>IMO, regardless of who wins, it sure seems to me that Mr. Gore is dangerously close to elevating his own desire to win above four balot counts, all of which have concluded that Mr. Bush has won the popular vote in Florida.

>Where do you get four? The ballots were counted on Election Day. By Florida law, they were recounted. In a few counties, they were counted a third time - this time manually. I'm not aware of anywhere that counted them a fourth time and most places didn't do a third count.

Three counts isn't enough??? <g>

Well, I guess it depends on whether you're a Democratically controlled canvassing board like Dade County that decided to stop counting and your own party was going to sue you to count again. No.. Maybe it was Palm Beach that changed the rules while they were counting to get more 'hits' for Gore. No... Maybe it was Broward...

Nahhh.. Maybe it was that five page memo that told canvassing boards how to disallow military vote.

Hmm.. Perhaps not.

Perhaps it was the Democrats handing out packs of cigarrettes.

Nahh.. That was another state.

Maybe it is those pesky butterfly ballots. Nope.. Can't be that since Mr. Daley's state uses them and you'd think he would be spending all his time in Illinois fighting them, huh..

Maybe I was thinking of the starts and stops. <g>

Maybe I've just lost count. <g>

Gore has by all counts lost each and every time. I suppose though that the Democrats will keep agitating util they get what they want. I mean, "the will of the people" really does mean "until we get the results we want", right?

Talk about an absolute lack of class.

Aren't you the least bit embarrassed by all of this?
Best,
