>>Gimme a break. All the Dems are running around like a bunch of old ladies with a mouse in the room pulling up their skirts. Imagine! People demonstrating. Why, it boggles the mind! The cretans. <g>

>>Truth is is that ist's about dang time the spineless Republicans got one IMO. There's a reason we have earned the moniker, "The Stupid Party". <g>

>>Dems lust after power in a more natural manner. That is it is more often what defines them whereas many of the Repubs get their sense of who they are from church, family etc and really do have a philosophical distaste for government. We, as a party, need to get over that IMO.

>Yeah, right. Republicans will never have the guts for a tough fight. When the going got tough, where did George W. go... The National Guard! I heard there was a huge bar fight while he was serving in the Guard, but he managed to slip out a back door and called his buddy Dan Quayle to pick him up. Too bad Dan did not know how to spell Alabama. Fortunately, George senior was able to send some of the hired help to go rescue him < g >.

>Gore would have picked him up, but he was serving in Vietnam.

Yeah he was really fighting for us wasn't he? I think he got the idea for the internet there, while toking on a number. Of course, Clinton could have come to his aid, but he was busy protesting against the war in England and Moscow. He and Hillary were also getting inspiration, but he didn't inhale.

As for Reagan, you can lay the fall of communism at his feet. You can probably find a lot of stuff at Clinton's feet, but you wouldn't want to look! Out with the bad, in with the good!
