Thanks for your reply, but still, there must be some kind of event i can trap if i loose network connection ? Then i could send it to my VFP Front end. I can't open a new connection every time i want to use one of the COM Function ! I call the COM about 20 to 30 times on the average form, multiply that by about 500 users and you have a major network trafic jam.
