Is it possible that the code is printing to a file as a first dummy pass so that it can figure the page count? Then the report prints to the printer for the real pass and prints "Page x of y" on the report.
I have this situation for one of my clients. On my HP DeskJet 890C printer, I'm always prompted for the PRN file name (even though the code already sets one). On any other printer of mine and on all my client's printers, it doesn't ask for the name -- it just uses the one the code passes to it.
