Larry, what i meen is when Windows looses connection on an interface, a Windows Event is generated, when i disconnect my NIC from the hub, Windows pop-up a litle window saying i lost connection. Is there anyway to trap this event and send it to my VFP ?

>I don't think so. The only time you know you've lost the connection is when you attempt to do something and you've already lost it.

>At this point, VFP doesn't have control, the OS does. It attempts to make a connection to the other box and can't. Even then I don't think it raises an event when the connection can't be made; it just returns an error to the OS.
