I stopped paying $99-$119 for their "Journal" when they started inserting ads. (I've received many offers to return, the latest included best tips and a salary survey which they valued at over $100! I believe)

You can't have it both ways, either call yourself a journal and don't accept ads and remain unbiased, or change your business model call yourself a magazine and accept ads (ie FP Advisor)...

BTW, received sample Coder Mag (I think that's the name, it's at my office) (by EPS) looks real good, 4 issues/year $20, (no beginner articles)
