Thanks for the confirmation, Nigel. Before too long I will have a guarantee that all users will have Outlook 2000, at that point I can get serious about looking at Outlook Automation and the technical details.

(In the meantime, I can use the old-fashioned method of multiple exclamation points to denote the critical part of message :)
