I wonder if disconnecting from the network drive would force a commit. I don't have a W2K network to do any testing, so I'm just throwing out random ideas here.
David,
What I have done is to store a form on the Server, Shut down the Workstation, restart the work station and then try to drag that previous form onto an Adaptec Easy CD, and it does not work, behaves exactly like it wasnt closed, however a form that has been thru the Zip/Unzip process behaves normally, leading me to ponder, what if the server crashes - there goes all modified forms ! However I must hasten to add that the Server never crashes, and I cant remember when this W2K workstation last crashed, but it did result in some nasty corruption of forms earlier on. Its kind of a sickening feeling to have all this nice expensive stuff only to find "corruption", but at least the forms in the WinZip files are OK.
Now I am off to "fix" the water supply, bore hole pump which is 500 feet below the surface has decided to have a short circuit, so the urgent hard work starts NOW.
Regard
